Excerpts of the statement reads below:

On this special day, as I celebrate 54 years of life, I am filled with gratitude and reflection. Looking back on the journey I have traveled, I am overwhelmed with thankfulness for the protection and victory that God has graciously granted me.

It has been a long and challenging journey, but through it all, I have remained focused on serving God as a minister and striving to deliver public good through the establishment of the Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice (ANEEJ) almost 28 years ago.

The experiences I have gained along the way have been rich with valuable lessons, and above all, I am deeply grateful for the faithfulness of our Lord. Today, I want to take this moment to thank God for the precious gift of life and for the opportunity to make a meaningful impact that is worthy. I am also grateful for the upbringing provided by my late parents and for the unwavering support of my siblings throughout the years of struggle. Their love has been a source of strength and encouragement.

I cannot express enough gratitude for my wife and children, who have been the most valuable gift from God. Their support and encouragement have been a constant source of strength, enabling me to pursue my calling and contribute to the greater good. I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks to my family, in-laws, and friends for their unwavering support, love, and kindness. Your presence in my life has been a blessing that I cherish deeply.

The New Apostolic Church (NAC) has become my spiritual dwelling place globally, and I am truly blessed to have found a community where I can worship and serve our God.

As I reflect on this interesting day, I am reminded to celebrate God’s grace and mercy. I pray that the will of God continues to prevail in my life, and I draw strength from Psalm 23 as I navigate through this season and moment of faith. I trust in the faithfulness of our Lord, who sustains us at all times.

As the Pastor/ Rector of New Apostolic Church, G.R.A Congregation, I want to thank the members for their love and support, this year mark 10 years, when the Lord used me and my family, members and the leadership of our district to birth the Congregation. Is really a blessing and a season of Joy. It has been a great honor to serve God!

As I mark this milestone, I ask God to empower me to continue sustaining public good as I join the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) to institute an award to empower investigative journalists to promote public good through the promotion of Investigative Journalism in Edo State. I am eager to continue making a positive impact and contributing to the betterment of society.

In conclusion, I celebrate this special day with a heart full of gratitude and hope for the future. I thank God for His protection, guidance, and blessings throughout the years and look forward to the journey ahead with faith and determination. Happy birthday to me, and may God’s grace continue to abound in my life. Amen! Shepherd David Ugolor.
